President Muhammadu Buhari has unveiled the new currency notes on Wednesday morning before the civil administrative council( FEC) meeting at the state house, Abuja. 

Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria( CBN), Godwin Emefiele was in attendance during the unveiling form. 

 Meanwhile, at a briefing after the form before the Federal superintendent council meeting, the CBN governor debunked imputations that the early unearthing of new notes is a means to target any Nigerian. 

 Mr Emefiele appealed to members of the public that there's no need to immortalize any similar information. 

 According to him, the CBN will consolidate the monitoring process and interrogate the process of recessions. 

He maintained that there will be heavy restriction on the volume of cash that people can withdraw over the counter, as it works with the EFCC to cover the purpose of any heavy deals. 

 The redesigned currency note he asserts can noway be counterfeited, adding that to forestall similar circumstance he states that the CBN redesign the notes after every five to eight times. 

 Following the unearthing of the new note which begins rotation moment, the CBN governor blazoned that the CBN is now more determined to make Nigeria a cashless frugality, as in other contextures.
