Early life
On November 6, 1968, in nsukka, Enugu state, he was born to Mr. Ozoiko Francis Okonkwo and Mrs. Beatrice Okonkwo.
Career
Kenneth began working in the Nigerian film industry (Nollywood) in 1991. He rose to prominence in 1992 as "Andy Okeke," the major part in the film Leaving in Bondage. The film is still regarded as one of the greatest in Nigeria. Since then, he has been in more than 200 Nollywood films, including Ripple, Dumebi, Silent King, World Apart, Helplessly in Love with My Wife, Royal Secret, Billionaires Club, The Power of Money, Just in Case, and Husband Material.
Kenneth had a spiritual rebirth in 1994 and began to reconsider his religious beliefs. He believes that inner cleanliness is more important to him than material wealth, and he is grateful to the almighty God for his redemption.
Kenneth confirmed his desire to run for Governor of Enugu State in the 2019 general election in March 2018. He also indicated that he will run on the All People's Congress platform. Due to the Musilim-Muslim ticket disputes, he quit his membership in the All Progressive Congress in 2022.
Awards and nominations
At the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards, he was named Best Actor in Nigeria, and at the City People Entertainment Awards, he was named Best Actor in a Leading Role. The African Movie Academy Award gave Pillars of Nollywood Special Recognition in 2013.
The organizers of the City People Entertainment Awards gave him a Special Recognition Award in 2015 for his commitment to the advancement of entertainment in Nigeria.
Education
Kenneth was raised in Lagos State and attended primary and high school. After receiving his West African Senior School Certificate, he studied in the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree.
Following that, he earned a second degree in Diplomacy and International Law from the University of Lagos (UNILAG). He also attended Bible School and studied theology.

Personal life
Kenneth married Ogechi Ezekiel in the year 2000. Their marriage, however, was brief, lasting only two years. He and Ogechi have a son.
Notably, Kenneth Okonkwo married Ifeoma Okonkwo again in 2007. They have been married since then, and their union has produced a son, Kenechukwu Isaac Chukwuchirimeze Okonkwo.
