Saturday May 20th was the ninth annual Africa Movie Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA) ceremony at the Eko Hotels in Lagos State.

IK Osakioduwa and former Miss Universe Zozibini Tunzi served as the hosts.

Three previous Big Brother housemates also made significant gains during the event, while Nigerian actress Osas Ighodaro took up the Best Actress in Drama award.

Best Online Social Content was awarded to Elozonam and Kie-Kie, and Diane Russet, won the Best Original Drama Series.

The Veteran, Patience Ozokwo, a seasoned actress also received the 2023 Industry Merit award.

Beauty Tukura, a former BBNaija housemate, received the AMVCA Best Dressed award for the year (female), while influencer Enioluwa Adeoluwa took home the prize for Best Dressed for the year (male).

The top stars in the music business performed during the event, including Tiwa Savage, Iyanya, Spyro, and others.
